Maybe. I'd be interested in seeing more detail on benefits, the conditions of coverage, exclusions, etc.

I believe that's a no. Do you mind if I ask who you're using?

It's through whomever underwrites the NRA insurance. Basic policy for $250k of criminal/civil defense is $154 per year. I have instructor insurance for 3 locations which bumps it to just over $300 per year.

I am confused...I am a NRA member too, but I don't remember this kind of coverage being offered.
    Could you provide more details-link?

My bad...it's $254 per year for the self defense coverage. The total of a little over $300 ($315 to be exact) was correct for the other added coverages.

Here's the link to the insurance page: http://www.locktonrisk.com/nrains/defense.htm

Might want to take a look at:
    http://www.armedcitizensnetwork.org/

They have John Farnam, Massad Ayoob, Tom Givens, James Fleming and Dennis Tueller, J. Vincent Shuck (ex-officio) and Marty Hayes (ex-officio) on their advisory board.
Having names like that to serve as your expert witness sounds like a deal.
