40 Weight coffee shop off of 64th and Ward is my JAM. They also do all of those boba drinks as well for those who are into such things.
Locally owned by some friends of mine. Good people.

Whenever my wife asks me why I never wear pants around the house I simply remind her:

Best coffee ever.
I don't own an ivory tower... but I rent one from time to time.
If you really want to hate coffee shops, start roasting your own beans. You will turn into a coffee snob and everything else will be rotten tasting. When working I'll drink 7-11 all day long, if it's a fresh pot. Bring your own cup and it's only a buck. And Starbucks isn't open at 3 am.
Espresso or French press coffee from my kitchen.
I really like this stuff...

McDonald's is okay for road coffee. At that point, coffee is just a vehicle for the caffeine, and McDonald's coffee is the same everywhere.
There are TWO Dunkin Donuts in Colorado Springs, mere blocks from one another. I find that infuriating, and extremely unfair.
Silver Canyon coffee isn't bad at all. We drink Boyer's Kona blend for our daily brew. Jacob's coffee is what we trot out for the holidays.

Honestly, my favorite coffee these days is Kava, from Safeway. :-) It's just good ol' instant coffee, but buffered to raise the PH somewhat. Maybe when the wife finally graduates, I'll be able to afford decent coffee. Of course, reality is that I'll probably just shift all of my new financial resources into ammo and screw the coffee..... :-)
I hate Coffee... anything to do with coffee, mocha in any other food. I grew up downwind from one of the world largest coffee roasting companies. Yuck!
