Worst feeling ever: Scratching a new gun....
Trying to pull a shotgun apart to remove reducer plug (if there is one, seems to be mixed reports online) and I scratched a post trying to use some pliers.... Dangit. Pisses me off. Is it going to rust on me now?
Oh well, back to it.

It's like the first (inevitable) ding on a new car. It rarely affects function. Drive on.
I say look on the bright side...it takes the pressure off. Now you don't have to feel bad getting it dirty, little dings down the road, or somebody dropping it. It's truly your gun!

Yeah... I guess, but I still didn't get that part off to see if there is a reducer plug or something. Oh well. I'll tackle it some other day.
Go throw it down the driveway, you'll feel much better after that.

1911 idiot mark is a full on NOOOOOOO moment when you have cleaned and taken them apart 100 times. So irritating.
