Still one of the greatest movies of all time and that scene is one of the greatest action sequences of all time. As much as I love the new CGI this goes to show you that you don't necessarily need it to have a great action sequence as it still stacks up well against the advanced CGI almost 20 years later.

No you don't. Worst carbines I ever owned. Gotta 13 lb trigger pull on a good day, a mag well no one can slam a mag into under duress, no parts, no accessories, and no future. About the only good thing on them was the folding stock- just like the FN/FAL para- and the cheap auto sears that were around 10 yrs ago. I sold all of mine years ago- they only cost me $750 each. They go for $3500 now. Go crazy and buy an AR or a Tavor or an AUG.

+1 Don't forget about the melting handguard and over heated receiver issue after a couple mags.

Because those two were inspired by the movie. Apparently they didn't see it through to the end when just about everyone dies.

Heat is one of my all-time favorite movies- and right behind it is the movie that these cool scenes are from (inspired by Heat)- The Town, which is one helluva movie.

Awesome heist and shootout/chase scene.

The Town fun fact: During one scene they're actually watching the drive-in scene from HEAT. I thought that was a cool tip of the cap from a movie that was obviously inspired by it greatly.
