Personally I think they are pretty bad ass! .........not saying if one was outeside on my deck he woupdent see the other end of a 12 ga. I'm just saying I respect them and am not afraid.............somewhat haha
Snakes are good. I like snakes. I can understand killing one with the children near it though.

Its that time of year again boys and girls.... Rattlers are out and about.
My son was just watering the trees that are in our yard. A rattler squirmed out of a tiny hole(less than a quarter size) right by him. This was less than 10 feet from our front door. Well now the snake is chop suey. My shovel slices and dices, it is made by ridgid but thinks its a ginsue.
A shotgun will put too many holes in the skin ;-)
