Something I find puzzling...

For this illustration I will be using yard tools(which in this case are hard to find items) instead of gun related items so I don't hurt anyone's feelers...

Example FS/FT ad -

Up for sale/trade is a like new shovel(prepanic price $25). In good condition, slightly used, see pictures.



Per trade post rules I place value of $50 cash, $65 trade...

No problem so far, I agree with the supply and demand adjusting the new value, But this is what gets me...

trades:
2 rakes(prepanic price of $15) plus cash
1 post hole digger(pre panic price $40) plus cash
etc etc etc


I guess what gets me is why the hell is your item worth 2 times the original value when my trade item is still worth the same value. Even though they are equally hard to find.


PS I know this is poorly written and probably hard to understand, but its late.

Yep. Both sides of the deal need to either be at normal pricing or panic pricing. Can't have a mix of the two.

There are now several members of this forum that I will never do business with again for exactly this reason. "My stuff is so much better that your stuff" There are a couple ads like this in ammo/reloading now. I won't name names but for the most part, they are relatively new here. Too bad, they are forever blocked.

I have seen some ads for .22LR bulk packs that were obviously purchased years ago at normal price ($20± per 500, 525) being listed for $50, with trades for 100 .223, 100 .45ACP, etc.

When I see these I quickly leave the ad before I start posting what a low life, scum sucking, greedy, weasel ass they are.

Just like when Magpul announced that they would not be raising their prices but you find maggot brain fart sniffers asking $50, $75, $100 each.
