I'd just cut the top board at an angle. You're selling it anyway. Most people are too stupid to even notice it.



Edit* I just realized it's wider than 2 boards on the left. I'd make sure the angled cut board is still wide enough on the right so it doesn't break when stepping on it. Then use a full board for the facing and cut a 3rd strip for the middle. Or just get a wider board for the angled cut.

That's kinda what I'm planning to do. But I think rather than trim the step boards I'm just going to angle them into the first deck board.
