    Default CWP in CO

I heard until 1 July you can take an online course?

I just became a CO resident, so my FL license is now invalid I guess...

Any recommendations? I am in Pueblo West....

I can't find the info but someone else may be able to clarify but I think it's the opposite actually. I think after July 1st you have to take a actual shooting class to get your cwp? I know Florida's permit is recognized here but not sure if it is just transferable?

You probably don't need to take a course at all, if you've got a current FL CHP, you had to submit proof of training for that, and that training is probably also adequate to meet the CO requirements. But if you do end up needing training to qualify for CO, then yes, you can still do online until 1 July.

I seem to remember reading your resident FL permit remains good for some period of time (90 days?) when you move into the state. Double check with your county's sheriff's office for application, training, and former permit applicability for someone newly relocated to colorado.

So my recommendation is to check up at pueblo co. sheriff's office to see if you need any training.

The online training only applied to certain counties, most all metro area counties require in person training. Call your local county sheriff for current requirements. Out of state, even recognized ones require a CO. Permit once you become a CO. resident.
