    Default New York Transplant

I have recently moved to a new area and met a new neihbor. It appears to me he has never had the opportunity to experince our way of life. I am generally over bearing about my beliefs and was more cautious then usual.

He was very receptive and come to find out already had hunting (bow) already on his list of things. He is not a die hard 2a guy yet but huge potential. He just asked me if I would hook him up with a CCW course and has stated he has no experience with a handgun. He has recently purchased a hand gun, I did not get into the weeds on that but I know it a 40 of some type... He is interested in initial training for proficientcy (sp) and law..

I initially started posting in ccw but elected general discussion because he might also join this forum. This is not just about CCW but could be the next 2a voter... advice?

I can train to shoot for Marines, I guess I have figured out my training does not really translate... lol I now refuse to do it..

Who stepping up for CCW? I live next door let's train him right on 2a... who is it?

I say give the guy all the support you can.
I know when I escaped from there I was in culture shock.
Open carry??? Heck I was in heaven!!!
But I already had the pro 2a mindset, and hated the NY libset.

If he's already into bow hunting,he's probably has the mindset as well-just takes some proper training to bring him up to speed.
Good luck and hope to see him on here soon.

    And yea- Bloomberg and Cuomo!!

Squeeze is an instructor too, and he's in Englewood.
