I can't wait to buy property. After renting from friends, dealing with prop management places is just a nightmare. Current place I'm moving to I stupidly researched the company after signing. Pretty universal horrid stories/reviews. Hoping it's just a bunch of low class failures that really caused their own problems, but we'll see.
Good Luck w/ your dealings.
There's several of us here that are in property management if you need help or advise.

Obama, so full of crap it is a miracle Air Force One can even get off the ground,
Too many things to go into now put in short words, typing from iPad, gave written notice of our out day and they waited weeks to post it as being vacant, wanting to charge us for that time with the excuse..." We sometimes have web glitches that allow us to see it as being listed but no one else" what a crock of BS. Also charged us for window repairs in basement of an 80+ yr old house. Windows we had never touched. The list goes on and on. Even threatened me with legal action because I told her I believed karma would come knocking on her door. And the clincher is they charged for all kinds of cleaning. Don't guess they knew my wife does move out cleans for a living for several different realtors.
The link above will be helpful.
