Makes everyone from what I've seen so far think that they are magical shotguns... It's just smart advertising. Shooting isn't some big bad science that is made for rocket scientists.... You could easily make a cheap Citori off of GB, or hell ya a new Mossberg Silver reserve shoot just as good. Sorry, but you can. Many of the best shooters coming up in the sport use random guns before they get given, yes literally given a nicer gun. The only reason I'm running my mouth, or words on a screen right now, is because I know some people that work on some of the top shooters guns. The stories you hear from them are great, friggen fantastic about the firearms industry. The reason they tell us this, is so we are not so mesmerized by the industry when we try to go out on our own. Sorry to burst your bubble, but BP, Firemoth, and any other great smith on here could make a gun that shoots just as well for a tiny fraction of the price of a Perazzi. You're buying a name and that's all there is to it. There are a lot of people, companies out there that will charge a massive amount, simply because they can becaue of their name: business is business, and when you can make a shit ton of money off your name, business is good. The people who work on Perazzi's, Turnbull's, and the rest, are just normal guys, some of which got hired from the Career fair in Iowa this last March right out of school. Who remembers the AR10 that Turnbull made? Was it worth the 60 thousand or whatever that it went for? It was to the buyer*, and when I asked Dave at dinner what he thought it would go for, he simply said, "whatever the people will pay". Also the proper car argument would be telling someone that your $70,000 used Nissan GTR with a $70,000 AMS upgrade, will smash their million dollar car (which it would), and of course the guy with the Bugatti, Lambo, Ferrari (you choose any other high end exotic), will just laugh, till you kick their ass on the track. That is a proper comparison. I'm sorry that you all feel that way. If you think you have to spend several thousand dollars to shoot to the best of your abilities, I guess that's your fault. I'm not trying to be a fancy pants smart ass or anything, I'm just trying to convey the truth that I have learned in two years of talking to people like Dave Turnbull, Chuck Grace, Clayton Nelson, Sharon Dressler, Jerry Fisher, and bla bla bla the list goes on. To put it in true perspective with a company like Perazzi... They make a nice gun, but it isn't any better than the nice quality $3000 guns that are out there, the difference is the name. Not to be confused by that last part, you could build a $750 shotgun up to shoot like a Perazzi pretty easily. < Also, I'm not talking about the finish, engraving, and fit, just the ability to shoot the same, that is all this discussion is about, how it shoots.
