Just ran the full colfax marathon today and am scheduled to run the incline next week with an army buddy. My goal is sub 28 mins( that's the fastest that of any of my friends that have ran it in)
I don't know how Apollo Ono the Olympic figure skater ran it in 18 mins

18? Now that is insane. Ain't no way on my best day. 28 maybe with a couple of practice runs back when I was a young man. Now. Nope.

Best way to get in to see me at the shop is to call or email Shannon and make an appointment.

One of the guys I work with did it in 26 mins last week. My best was last fall in 34 mins. The sun and the heat will slow you down more than anything else!

Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.

Yeah, my flight does it once a month in lieu of squad PT.

I keep hearing about this... now that I'm several months out from smoking, I should give it a shot. Doubt I could run it, but would love to walk it and see what all the hubbub's about.

As long as everyone wants to go do and talk about the incline, I'm happy. That means they are off the cool trails.

My wife drove the bus for a group of Olympic swimmers that wanted to run the Incline a month or so ago. They wouldn't believe her when she told them there were high school kids running it in 25 minutes or less. "Ryan Lochte did it in 28 minutes, there's no way?!" Punks.

I've done it a couple of times with my son and once by myself. I bring my full day hike kit, about 15lbs, take my time and brew some hot tea at the top. The two-legged mountain goats can run it all they want.

How long did it take you to do the marathon? Wanting 28 because your buddy did it may not be realistic.

I've never heard of a high school kid doing it in 25. 95% of the high school kids who do it can't break 30. Not to say that it hasn't happened, but a high school kid going under 25 is definitely not the norm. Frankly, not the college kids either. Stand at the top and record the ages of all the people that clock in under 25, and the average will be over 30 years old.

    My best is 25:54, and I'm 40.
