Are we sure the KSG is GTG? Its my understanding that it won't be allowed since they're adding the two magazines together. If flipping a switch counts as a mag change then the X-Rail should also be legal too.

The attorneys I have spoken with believe it will be interpreted as 28" of shells "TOTAL" in fixed tubular magazines for shotguns. Mag fed shotguns don't get the 28", only 8 rounds in the magazine. But, since the actual language for the box magazines is "combined with a fixed magazine" that is going to have to be interpreted since it makes no sense and in most shotguns means no restriction on capacity for box fed shotguns. We know that was not their intent, but yes they are that stupid.

Yes and the new law regulates the length of tube magazines on pump shotguns.

Agreed but the KSG is one of the guns that skirts this. No tube is longer than 28" and there is nothing saying they have to be added together. (Not saying tubes are mags but) It would be like having an AR15 that could hold two Pmags at the same time with a selector switch between them. That is part of what makes the KSG so cool.

Kid is also correct in that if you have it before the first this is all academic which fits wonderfully with the thread topic.
