    Default Daughter's first shooting trip...

It was a good morning - the range was empty, the sun was shining, and we had plenty of stuff to shoot. She tried out my SIG, the Glock 19, .357 snubbie, 10/22, and the Savage .308. Got her best groups with the Glock - just seemed to fit her. Busted some clays, did some long-range stuff with beer bottle at 100 yards, killed a few cans. I even let her listen to her boy band CD in the truck on the ride up, which took an effort of will to grin and bear through. lol. All in all, a good day. She even helped me cook up some ammo last night - 3rd pic is her throwing the charges while I seat the pills. :-) A big thank you to RedDogFabrication and Spleify for the contest that provided the .22 ammo - she definitely seemed to prefer it to the .308. Go figure... :-)

Very cool, that has to be on the top ten best ways to spend a day(except for the boy band music). Glad to see a young woman enjoying our hobby, we need more good fathers like you!

Congrats! Nothing better... Had my teen girls out yesterday blasting a ton of .22! Good times for sure!

I don't own a Facebook - prefer not to be digitally micro-chipped and leashed. I don't make duck faces in my photos, post meaningless drivel about how I just made a dump shaped like Rhode Island, or particularly want anyone in general to know my personal life. :-) Therefore, no FB for Dingo.

Plus, too many ex's on Facebook who I hear through the grapevine would like to get in touch again. Not conducive to my newfound sense of fidelity and grownupedness. :-)
