Yep, SA, Berdan. Want to sell the brass? And the other SA is marked M1A2 on the box. I liked it much better than the R1M1. Box and HS.

and it will most likely have a massive dent right in the side of the case.

Just like an AK? still good but a little tweak on the ejector will cure that.
