Worst I've ever seen, just after high school, with my buddy who was born and spent the first 13 years of his life in Japan (GI Dad, Japanese mom)- saw a guy at a party with some Japanese characters on his arm running from the shoulder down his tricep. I asked him what it meant and he said "It's Japanese for 'You reap what you sow.'" Well my Japanese friend stepped in and said "no, actually that's not what that says, your tattoo actually doesn't say anything, it makes no sense, they're poorly written characters."
