Default Finally got to throw some lead downrange

HEE HAWWW. I bought my cousins Smith and Wesson M&P 15 back in January. My buddy is a member of an outdoor gun club and invited me to go with him today. I took the AR-15, my S&W 357 and a Colt 1911 22. He had a coulple 1911 45 ACP's, Buffalo rifle 45-70 and an M1 semi automatic. I managed to get 1 round out of the AR-15 on the bulleye at 100 yards with the iron sights. I got 3 out of 4 on the target with the buffalo rifle. I was also able to tear up the bulleye at 15 yards with his 1911. Even had the wife with us and she was hitting the target with the AR-15 at 100 yards. Next up, I need a scope for sure. What a great day.

Sure is a great feeling getting that "Shooter's High". Last 4-5 times I've been on the range, it's been as an instructor so I am very jealous you got some personal range time. I've been telling myself for a few months now, I need some range therapy for myself.

Glad you had fun. The hard part is now beginning with finding a scope you want

Today would of been a good day for the range. Lucky you!
I have a Burris Fulfield II, 3x9x40mm on my M&P15 and I like it so far.
