    Default Knock off eotech?

Has anyone seen the knock off eotechs on eBay? There like 50 bucks or so. I know a guy who accidentally bought one off a dude without knowing it was fake and he is more less wanting to give it to me but idk if its even worth the hassle. I thought about mounting it on a 22 or something.

Give it to you ? Free is free, it'll look good and may even function for a short while on a .22 AR. Give us a durability folloow up on it after some long shooting outings.
Hope your friend didn't pay real EoTech prices for it......
My T.P. wheeling and dealing feedback is here.

Is it a Sightmark? They a great for .22lr, but I wouldn't trust them on anything bigger, or in any rough conditions.

Bushnell made some HOLOsights for a while that were licensed by L3 communications. They are the same specs and same internals as EOTechs, but not as bulky (and not quite as durable without the big aluminum protective hood). I bought 3 of them a few years ago. I upgraded 2 of them to other options, but I keep one because I like the look and feel of the EOTech without the bulkiness. I bought as XPS2 thinking I would finally get a "real" EOTech, but I sold it after mounting it and seeing how big and heavy it was compared to the HOLOsight. You can still find some HOLOsights for about $200 on eBay. Only downside is that they use "N" size batteries... Kind of a pain.
