Anybody have a clue what the value of a DPMS a15 serial# 35@& is. What I've read has it all over the place. Also having trouble figuring its age. 20in., carry handle, some scratches but over all good condition.

I'm in Fredericksburg, Va. 53 miles south of DC. Civil war buffs will know it well.joined your board because whenever I'm looking for info your group seems to know their stuff.
The market has been a little squirrelly lately. Also, value tends to vary depending on your geographical location as well. I'm not familiar with your area so my advice is based off my market area. First, DPMS is really an entry level type of rifle. They have always been some of the cheapest ones you can buy. Also, if yours is an A2 model and has a 20" barrel, I imagine that will decrease its desirability somewhat since all the current rage is with the flat top receiver and carbine length barrels.
Personally, I wouldn't think it would be worth more than about $800 an that might be a bit on the high end.
But, your market might bring a different price.

Depending on how many rounds through the tube... $800-900 FTF, no BOS![]()
Driving around WV this weekend I've seen shelves full of ARs, mags, and even some ammo. Don't let anyone try to sell it to you for a higher price because they are "hard to find".

Ray hit it pretty well. Outside of a LR 308 or SASS, most any DPMS maxxes out @ 800.00ish. If as mentioned it is an A2 fixed carry handle it may be a hard sell unless you discount it.

I was thinking the same. Some claimed the low serial # was valuable but that made no sense to me. Funny though, it is an absolute tack driver. Blows away my shorter colts and armalite. Maybe it just reminds me of the m16 I carried in the Corps. Happy Memorial Day.

In todays market, its whatever you will pay. Great gun, but only worth $800 to me. Good luck. Fredericksburg is a place I want to visit.lol
