    Default fun shows

so is it me or is my sense of time off?

there is another Tanner show this weekend.

are there more now than there used to be? are they trying to get in on the madness?

regular show prices were outrageous, I can only imagine how unworldly they'll be this weekend.

Yeah, there was yet another show...Vendors are trying to make as much $$ as they can before Mr. Obama take the Oath.

A buddy and I picked up 6 & 7 MagPul mags for $15/ea and cleaned one guy out...

Some vendors seemed to be a but on the stupid side, charging as much as 5% for CC transactions and had an attitude on top of that!

One vendor tried to screw my buddy by changing the price of a gun by making a 4 into a 9...my buddy started getting a bit irate and loud with the vendor (lots of customers around), so they made it right...but not without some stupidity.

I'm done...no more gun shows for a while.

By the time I got there, the line was around the parking lot. They had exceeded the safe occupancy and weren't letting anybody else in until somebody left. We figured the prices would be sky high anyway and didn't want to wait.

We went to Gander Mountain in Thornton. I was planning to stock up on CCI mini-mags but they wanted over $8 per box. On the way back we hit Sportsman's Warehouse and their CCI's were still $6.99. I picked up another 1000. Got to feed my P226 with threaded .22 conversion kit and Warlock.

Need H335 and H4198 powder. I'll check the Chambers Rd. show this Sat, but I don't have any high hopes. Any other suggestions?
