Default As Memorial Day comes to a close A MOMENT OF SILENCE

As 1800 approaches and the Flag is lowered it closes out the day and lest everyone know Others stand guard while we rest. Some forever.

Hope everyone had a safe weekend and Remember it is always Memorial Day.

God bless all those that have served to keep this republic free. Those who gave all are never forgotten.

Thank you former and active military.

Your sacrifice is often forgotten, but not be me.

    Thank you Jim.

As I ponder the significance of this day, I'm saddened by the loss of the millions of lives given since the efforts began to establish this great nation. Yet, I'm encouraged by the knowledge that so many have been willing to sacrifice everything for the purest ideals of freedom, liberty, & justice that this country strived to achieve and we continue to work to maintain. It is the willingness to give all for these ideals that gives me hope for our future.

May God bless those who've perished and may God bless America!

Taps is at 22:00 at Buckley. I can hear it most nights, and never fail to remember its significance. May we always remember and appreciate the sacrifices made by our defenders and their families.
