Default Just got my Delton Kit

Well I had a stripped stag lower sitting in the safe for awhile doing nothing. So I decided to turn it into something useful. I ordered a standard 20' delton kit. It arrived today, and took my about 30 minutes to put together. Not bad since its my first build. I like this kit a lot for a few different reasons. The price was right at $497.70, and included everything. Also it has already been headspaced and test fired. I dont know if I got lucky or not, but the lower matched up with the upper perfectly. And even the color matches. I got the stag lower on sale online awhile back for $72 plus a $25 nics fee from the FFL. So for a total of $594.70 I have a complete AR-15A2. The only draw back was that I had to wait 6 weeks for the kit because I ordered the chrome molley barrel. But definitely worth the wait. Now I just need to go to the range and get some true zeroes, and a BZO, and ill be good to go.

    Nice!

I'm still a big fan of having at least one full size 20" rifle in the inventory.

I dont understand the whole attraction/love affair pwople have with the m4. It isnt designed to shoot ball ammo, and nowhere near as accurate as a 20'. Besides I never have been a geardo fobbit, so I dont need all that other additional cool looking crap anyway

20" will be a little more accurate, not a big deal for a "shtf" rifle, especially if it's not floated. A four inch shorter bbl does a lot of good if you use it where I'll be using mine if there ever is a SHTF, urban.

    +1

I love my 20" Armalite A2 (national match), awesome and accurate but it's a bit big and heavy for lugging around if there was an urban need.
