For Ford F250. Any body got one to rent or know where to get one?
Spent an hour trying to get coupling loose with out it, no luck.

Auto Zone or Advanced Auto-deposit returned when done.
Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to Fight, he'll just kill you.
Melt em off by heating a hack saw blade with a propane torch. Touch coupling with hot blade. Replace hoses with clamps. Read this in a car forum...
Are they the black plastic fittings with the two white taps to push in? No need for heat, you need to push the hose towards the core/component slightly, and then press in on the tabs under the fitting, NOT the shit sticking out the end of the fitting. It's not super easy, but it will work. The OTC removal tools are kind of a joke, you don't need them.
And don't reuse the two rubber and one plastic O rings going back on either.
Once you get the fitting (hose) off, use a small pair of dykes to cut the white tab piece off the component being careful not to damage the aluminum "ring" that it locks up against. You didn't mention if the core is bad, or the hose. If you're replacing the core, you don't have to be careful with that side of it.....if you're doing the hose(s) you should.
Hope that is helpful to you.
Thanks Otter, your instructions are what I have been doing. Will concentrate on the tabs inside ring more.
