Ouch! I been there and done that.
A Couple years back I had a piece of metal in the eye from grinding on my Jeep. I am a wussy when it comes to having my eye touched. The Doc had to put my head in a vice thingy while a nurse held my head in it. Headaches, couldn't sleep, ..ran into walls and door jams cause my vision was compromised.
They say your eye is the fastest healing thing, feels like forever.
Hang in there

"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles. --Jeff Cooper"

After many trips to the ER, I found the best thing about eye injuries is that they get you to the front of the line!
Heal up.
I will not abide this abomination. (1224)
No fun there Bert, just caught your post. Once was enough for me. I feel your pain.
Sorry man. Hope everything heals quickly.

Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.
Hope your recovery is speedy and painless as possible. Eye injuries truly suck.

Holy Cow Bert, get well soon. While coming out of surgery once, I scratched my cornea and it was the worst pain. Had to wear a fake contact for a week while the eye healed.

didn't yo momma tell you better?
Bought an Eye Spud form the medical supply one end is a polished magnet slide it over the eye to remove ferrous metals
the other end is a Nylon loop for other stuff.
Saves alot of money for the ER, eye doc etc. Most foreign objects are easily removed minutes after the problem, but the longer you have to wait the more embedded they become.
Sorry to hear that, man. Eye stuff does suck...
When I had my LASIK done years ago, I had some sort of unanticipated reaction to the procedure. Both eyes hemorrhaged and swelled shut. Felt like someone poured ground glass in them for 4 days, and the Dr wouldn't give me pain meds. Ended up breaking the neck off my prized bottle of vintage 2000 Kendal Jackson and drank the entire thing just to numb up a bit in the first few hours...
Here's to a speedy recovery and no lasting damage!!
Between this and your other "activities" you're determined to go blind huh?
Just kidding, get well soon!
