Houston we have a fire...
Heard a lot of sirens the last few minutes, turned around in my office to see and oh shit... we have a fire in Evergreen...
Listening in on the scanner now, EVFD has called for mutual aid from surrounding districts. Will update as info becomes available.

Well I will bet there will be no more camp fires allowed for the rest of the year...dang it.
Level 1 Evacuations going out now, 1mi west of fire (downwind). Units in vicinity of Brookforest Road and Brookforest Drive, staging at Bluebell.
Air support requested.
Evacuations being issued for Brook Forest area.

Thanks, blacklabel, problem is it's not too far from where my grandparents live, and they're in their 80's.... Scanner traffic is showing a lot of activity in vicinity of Elk Run Rd...

We just got the evacuation order- it's about 4 mi from my house.
ETA: We're not leaving... JCSO is screwing up the evac orders... They're indescriminately evacuating an entire 4.5mi radius.
