Boyles out at KHOW

While I often diagreed with PB, he always made me think about things. He often had good guests and I think one of the best radio shows around.

I'll miss yelling at him on my morning commutes.

He'll be rehired in a month or so. (Hope) Boyles will help Tancredo. Not sure what the Sheik was doing to piss him off, but he sure is no following in Boyles footsteps of a good talk radio host. He has a dating show, and would talk sports when he filled in at times. Didn't understand the audience. Clearchannel owns KHOW ,KOA and the lib station also, there is no where else to go. Rehire him you bastards!

Used to listen to him during drive time. The only reason I ever listened to KHOW/Clear Channel. He was the local guy. I quit listening during the whole John Bennett cluster fawk. Too much arm chairing...

Haven't listened to him in a few years. My drive time is about 10:00 now.

Anymore, it's podcasts while blasting down the road.

It sounds like his show went down hill. Too bad.

Annoying as hell. All I really remember from his show was babbling about birth certificates and giving Rich Wyatt sexual favors on the air.

Jon Caldara is a huge improvement. I would happily listen to a station that was all him, Rosen, and Phil Hendrie.

Pete was strongly anti-illegal immigrant and also spoke out against the financial condition the government has gotten us into.

IMHO,There is more happening with him being terminated, besides the Boyles/hollenbek dust up. There were no sacred cows with Pete and lot's of Political enemies from the mansion to the town council. Do i agree with Boyles across the board? no way. Did he beat a dead child model to death over and over, absolutely. Yet his attacks and criticism over the handling, investigation , dog & pony bs with that child molester they extradited from Sumyoung boy in SEA was spot on. NO ONE to date outed Hancock and others dalliances at denver sugar. Condemnation of the DA and judicial system with Pat Sullivan. No one even in the wee hours of news sensationalism dares to shine a light on the political and judicial corruption CO has been ignoring.

I imagine Clear Channel will seek approval from the powers-that-be before getting a new morning host.

I'm enjoying Caldara for now.
