    Default Dust Storm east of Pueblo

    Some pics of our dust storm rolling in yesterday. We were headed east out of Pueblo when we noticed her alongside and behind us. We raced it at 80mph for about 15 miles. Got to the house the same time it did. It was dark for about 45 minutes but we could see far enough to see our tree branches getting broken off. You can see the storm engulfing Crowley County Jail in one pic.

    Wow, I didn't realize these things existed in CO. It seems that all the CONUS footage of such are in AZ...

    I remember those in the lifetime I spent in Lubbock TX, (2 years). This has to be how the Dust Bowl years must have looked. I didn't know we had these in CO.

    I think Pueblo is more the Brown Blizzard type of area....

    Lubbock huh? I'm a TTU grad... there were some amazing storms there during my time.
