We don't know what's on the unedited tape. All sorts of examples of how the media have turned situations around 180 degrees (or in some cases, 540 degrees) by judicious editing.

Would bet there is more to the story, still not grounds to send the dogs.
Turn tables on reporters. Go in the house, if they persist on harassing you, call police complaining of trespass and harassment.
Lots of stupid to go around in that video.

I'm still confused on how a reporter, who is delivering GOOD news, should be assaulted and is a "scumbag, leech."
If someone, even a reporter came up and told me that the person who shot a member of my family had turned himself into the police, I would be ecstatic and asking, who, what, when, where, why.
I will go with the assumption that there is something missing in this story which caused the hostile reaction to what I would consider "good news." Such as the shooter is known to that family. I will still go with, "no comment" and walk into my house would have been a better course of action.

As much as I hate the media, I am a huge advocate for Free Speech and the first Amendment. The media reporter was exercising her right to freely "report".
How would you guys like it if you were exercising your right to open carry and someone had their dogs attack you and started throwing rocks at you just for exercising your rights?
Sometime you have to take the good with the bad with all our rights. Its called freedom.

My first response was cheering the lady and her dogs. The bottom feeder was asked to leave. She should have. This is a common tactic for reporters use to get a "good" story.
I'd bet there is a lot more footage then what we are seeing.
