I've been working on this for many months now and finally to a point where I'm able to tell all of you on Colorado AR-15 Shooters. I super excited to announce the opening of my firearms & accessories retail store, Ark Tactical. The store opens this Wednesday, June 12th, 2013. Some of the reasons why I'm doing this are:

• I don't like my day job.
• I love guns, shooting, the 2nd amendment and all you sacks of...nevermind.
• I am thoroughly frustrated by how the vast majority of guns stores are run and treat their customers.
• Even if I can't afford to own them, at least I can drool over some cool stuff whenever I want.
• I enjoy interacting with people and most folks in the shooting community are a step or two above the general public.

A couple of things I am going to try and do different from many of the other shops in town:

• Treat my customers like I am happy to see them
• Price items fairly regardless of the political climate etc (ie - no $150 bricks of .22LR)
• Welcome feedback from my customers (comment box is on the wall ready for feedback) on what's working, what's not, what products to carry, how often to shower, etc.
• Discounts for CO AR-15 Members

We've got quite a few hi-cap mags in stock (AK, AR, 10/22 Steel Lips, FN PS90, and lots more). Lots of other items in stock too (even a little ammo). Thanks everybody! I'm excited and scared to death at the same time. Despite the ridiculous hours I've been working to get the shop up and running, keeping up with my other job, and spending time with my wife and two boys, I have been having fun! I'm really looking forward to getting to meet or chat with more of you. I have met many of my closest friends through this great group of people. I'm looking forward to lots more!
