ETA: I actually posted that as a joke, but the more I think about it I wouldn't at all be surprised if this wasn't a suicide. In many primitive cultures going off into the wilderness alone and unequipped is a method of suicide.

LSD is bad for you. Apparently, she traversed a canyon in the middle of the night, naked and barefoot, and the trail ended after she reached the paved road at the other side.
