Bit of a shameless plug (not like I profit from it), but I run a website called ColoradoFireMaps.com in my spare time. There's supposed to be an IR (infrared) flight over the Black Forest Fire tonight, which means we should get a much better picture of the fire's perimeter & size. I usually get the perimeters up on the site by about 10am or so, depending on when the data is released.
Hopefully the maps help someone out - tomorrow will be an interesting day; winds are supposed to be lower than today, and MAFFS should be coming on board to the Black Forest Fire tomorrow morning sometime. Fingers crossed that they can help turn the tide.
