Hoser is truly a stand up guy. He took photos of my house during the fires last summer and emailed them to me while I was overseas. It was nice to know the place was still standing while I was on the other side of the globe.

Wings... ok. you got me. I can tell you I was truly pissed when they brought me a raw hamburger and said the grill is thataway have fun. Kinda taints the whole experience for me. I don't have to go out and tip people so I can cook my own food. I really want to like O'Malley's, but there's a huge element of suck that most locals somehow overlook.

We ened up dropping 40,000 gallons of goop on the fire.
It was sickening to look down at those homes and see nothing left. All my childhood memories erased.
We all wish we could have done more.
It is going to be a long summer with these fires.
