    Default Core 15 = crap.

So i bought a stripped core lower to build into a pistol until I get my sbr stamp back... Very close to completing the lower... Then I found out how poor cores quality control is...

Going to have to take a dremel to it i guess... This is the difference between BCM, noveske, lwrc, lmt, ect... And dpms, s&w, rock river, core ect...

I've seen a couple complete CORE's and I thought they were pretty good for the money?

Honestly I did too, and I've sold them to a few people telling them that they were great for the money. This lower came in at my work, so I grabbed it. I just can't stand that they let something like this leave the factory. It's not a huge deal, but if I have to modify a lower to get it to go together, then they automatically lose my business. I've had several noveske "blem" lowers, and they put this thing to shame...

I've heard good things about them and most companies have QC issues from time to time. It'll be interesting to see if the becomes a routine problem with their products.

Another forum member bought one of their barrels. It was garbage. Something wasn't right with the way the chamber was cut and it wouldn't feed and destroyed the ammo trying to chamber it.

I've seen a couple uppers lately that were either bent, and weren't machined properly, and you couldn't even operate the charging handle. Tried 3 different CH with the same problem. They weren't core uppers though... I think some companies are slacking due to the backlogs lately.

Do not dremel if other options. Are available

What options do i have? Sending it back to core isn't one of them... If it were something other than the buffer retainer I would send it back... It can't really cause any failures as long as it fits...

How so? You put the effort into pissing and moaning about it, why not send it back in to get corrected?
