Manitou is in the district too, IIRC, so a low voter turn out by normal people will always hand a socialist a win.

3rd party candidate took enough votes away from the R. Just enough to give morse the win.

This. Morse and Giron both won by less votes than the 3rd party candidate in their district got. I think Morse only won by a little over 600 votes and the 3rd party got a couple thousand votes. I haven't seen it mentioned in the last couple of days, but I remember reading the numbers a few months ago when he was ramming legislation through.

So what will the ballot look like?
-Should sucker-de-cock be recalled? yes or no
    -candidate 1
    -candidate 2 or more?

So if the yays beat out the nays, it goes to the candidates?

I really hope you are right - I saw this and it made me nervous... http://coloradopols.com/diary/44669/...all-the-recall

I know which way that site leans (the opposite of right), so I hope they are foolishly optimistic.

It would break my heart to see such a resounding 'hands-off' be defeated because of a technicality.

I really hope people get out and vote this guy out. If they dont and he stays in we will never hear the end of it.

Indeed, though it'd probably add fuel to the fire of creating Northern Colorado (or Eastern CO, as one editorial I read today suggested).

They have a new tactic gang. The Morse camp is calling all the "D"'s that signed the petition claiming that this petition was driven by outside interests and money back east and many were "tricked" into signing it but that it was not to late to have your name taken off the petition.

The call was local and the wife signed it and is a registered "D". They called looking for her and at first the guy said he would call back but I got him to say his BS when I said that she just got back from the dentist and I had signed it as well.

After his spew he asked if I would be willing to take my name off and that it was real easy to do. I told him not a chance that we would change our minds about Bloomburg's lapdog and that Morse needed to rot in hell for not listening to his constituents.

So just a heads up to those in the district that if there is a "D" in the house that signed it your phone will ring.
I see you running, tell me what your running from

Nobody's coming, what ya do that was so wrong.
