It's not a bold decision to switch from D to R. They both do the same thing. Washington is a single party system.
If you don't think so, tell me the last time the R's were in charge that the size and scope of government and spending decreased, and liberty increased.
You like what R's say (as do I), but ignore what they do (I don't). Remember the 2010 Republican Pledge to America? On that very day I heard what was in it I stopped being a Republican, because I knew it was all lies. And time has proven that to be correct. And that was in the midst of a Republican windfall election cycle. Did they even keep a single promise in the Pledge to America? They count on the average person's memory of anything they say or do only lasting about 2 weeks. It's almost a joke.
To me, being a Republican means being a person who believes obvious lies. And I'm no sucker.
I am a conservative, but will never call myself a Republican again.

Sorry guys.. He is a politician..he will say whatever he needs to say. In 2007 he switched from GOP to DEMOCRAT to win a slot in the State House. He also released sobbing video of the reasons why. Then in 2013 when he has no chance as democrat he switched back. FUCK HIM!
