I am glad to see Microsoft cave on this stuff. Honestly the way to go for these new systems is to wait 12-18 months. Then you get to see a sizable selection of games for both, and all of the launch run glitches and bugs get worked out. And hopefully the price comes down $100 each in that time frame as well.

This is what I did and I knew they would likely cave before launch day. All my buddies that were complaining had also pre-ordered the first day of E3 and couldn't understand when I was telling them that these companies only existed to make money and complaining meant nothing when you already committed your buying dollars to them.

It's going to be a lot closer than you think and besides... who cares? The closer the competition the better for the consumer anyway unless you're some sort of a brand-loyal fanboi. It's going to be a fun winter for gaming!

Very little risk to play the game. I made over $10k on the release of the original 360 and I don't see the One coming anywhere near that demand but that doesn't mean I won't buy a few just in case.

You're not the only one. I have a lot of friends that are current Xbox 360 players who have said they are pre-ordering PS4 and just keeping the 360. Microshit really kicked a lot of gamers in the crotch and they are pretty pissed about it.
