Having been in 81 and 82 it is a great race. The boring NASCAR guys get to play on the road course as well. All I need is Saturday night thunder back and life would be great.

Yes sir! I woke up nice and early for the start of LeMans. I will be there within the next two years even if I have to sell every gun I own to pay for it.

Already a death. They have not had a death in the race since 86. I was watching the Corvettes run and the rhythm the drivers had going. The big thing I had to go look for was what trans they were using for the racecar. Xtrac 6-speed sequential transaxle.

Having been close to the team that ran there in 82 with the Camaro's I knew about running them easy but wondered about the modern engine. Seems they are limited by twin 29mm throttle bodies due to the rules so 336 CID makes 491HP @ only 5800.

I miss it.

It is just getting to be party time there. Go have some dinner, ride the Ferris wheel, find some parties then crash about 1am. Wake up about 5 and go see who made it through the night.

just past halfway....of course audi in typical german fashion has there alternator INSIDE there gearbox that beat em up in hour 7
