The Decision raised millions for charity out if thin air. People want to hate him so nobody mentions the motivation behind doing because it paints him as the genuinely good dude that he is. I get the 'Not 1, not 2, not 3...' thing because it seems a bit arrogant on the surface but let's not forget where it took place... at a Miami Heat fan pep rally. You always say stuff like that at fan appreciation events but he's the only one criticized for it. I mean seriously, the dude has been the 2nd most popular athlete (behind Tiger Woods until recently when he took the lead) worldwide and THIS is the worst the can drum up on him? That alone has got to be worth something. He lives in an era where every single play is criticized via social media and he's expected to be perfect on every single play. He's not. Nobody is. Jordan had finals games where he went 6-29 but nobody mentions those. Lebron averages very nearly a triple double in finals yet that's somehow garbage. It seems to me that that is the first person to come along since MJ that when it's all said and done would rival and even surpass MJ in many categories and I think lots of people want to hate simply for that reason. While they're hating and sulking I'm being entertained by one of the greatest athletes of our generation.
