I won't say his body of work beats MJ's body of work but he's WELL on his way and we'll talk when Lebron hangs 'em up for good over a decade from now.

Two league MVPs in a row
Three NBA Finals in a row
    Two Championships in a row
Two Finals MVPs in a row
And throw an Olympic gold medal in the middle of all of that

    Want more?
Four straight game 7's with 30+ points
    Highest NBA finals point average
    Two finals triple doubles
More clutch shots (tie or go ahead) and higher percentage than anyone else in the league since he came into the NBA
27 straight wins (Longest is 32 during a season when the ABA had the good players)
Only the 2nd time in league history someone averaged 27pts, 12rebs & 7 assists in the finals... the other player? Lebron James last year.

He should be defensive player of the year the last few seasons too. He's the only player that you can put on the other team's best player defensively and have him shut them down regardless of position. Parker tonight went 3-12 for 10 points while he was scoring 37pts and 12 rebounds. His defense is the most underrated part of his game and the list of people who can do what he does defensively while producing on the offensive end at the same time is slim to none.

On top of that the dude never has problems off the court and says all the right things when asked and steered towards saying the wrong things by the media trying to break a story at the expense of athletes.

Oh yeah... and he's 28 years old.

I can appreciate that statement. I'm the same way, there's certain teams or people I dislike for whatever reason but I can appreciate what they've done or what they do and give credit where credit is due. Tom Brady drives me nuts but damn that dude is a good NFL quarterback. The Patriots drive me nuts but damn are they a solid franchise. I'm not going to try to discredit what he or they have done just because I don't like them because that's just foolish. It amazes me how many people try to discredit what Lebron has done and is doing as mediocre or pedestrian.

I understand. So why take the time to post in a thread clearly about the NBA? Personally, I have better things to do than spend time seeking out things I don't like on the internet to post how much I don't like them.

If you don't have anything nice to say....

    Yuck!

Michael Jordan never choked in the playoffs (James did...or threw it); he will never be up there with the greats. He is a self-centered prick who had to surround himself with his super-star friends to make something of himself.

Yeah. My reason for disliking the heat... The big huge show when Lebron signed with them... Was all that REALLY necessary?

It's like the Red Wings... I hate them. But damn they are/were good.

Sidney Crosby... Hate that little pussy bitch with a passion... But he's a damn good player.

Alex Ovechkin... Horribly dirty player who needs to get his shit kicked in... Damn good player.

Are you talking about 'The Decision' or the parade where they said 'Not 1, not 2, not 3...' ??

The whole damn thing. It was this huge thing.. The "Not 1, not 2, not 3" thing was kind of a cap on the whole thing.

The Decision raised millions for charity out if thin air. People want to hate him so nobody mentions the motivation behind doing because it paints him as the genuinely good dude that he is. I get the 'Not 1, not 2, not 3...' thing because it seems a bit arrogant on the surface but let's not forget where it took place... at a Miami Heat fan pep rally. You always say stuff like that at fan appreciation events but he's the only one criticized for it. I mean seriously, the dude has been the 2nd most popular athlete (behind Tiger Woods until recently when he took the lead) worldwide and THIS is the worst the can drum up on him? That alone has got to be worth something. He lives in an era where every single play is criticized via social media and he's expected to be perfect on every single play. He's not. Nobody is. Jordan had finals games where he went 6-29 but nobody mentions those. Lebron averages very nearly a triple double in finals yet that's somehow garbage. It seems to me that that is the first person to come along since MJ that when it's all said and done would rival and even surpass MJ in many categories and I think lots of people want to hate simply for that reason. While they're hating and sulking I'm being entertained by one of the greatest athletes of our generation.

I'm not blaming him. I don't dislike him.

I dislike the big huge deal it turned into.

Just like I hate how ESPN has skipped over everything hockey for the last few years. And how Tebow still makes the front page of ESPN.

Do you know how far I had to dig to find anything about Roy Oswalt's game last night? Pretty friggin far...

Roy Oswalt came back to the bigs and struck out 11, yes ELEVEN, Nationals Players in 5 innings...

Zimmerman, who is getting all the attention, struck out 9... IN EIGHT INNINGS!!!!!

    I hate the bias.
