Default Colorado's turned LEFT? NO Shitte

    http://www.coloradoan.com/article/20...ard-left-turn-

Interesting read in the coloradoan this morning.

This readers comment about sums up why CO is they way it is today.

Great article. But the headline isn't fair. I hardly think there has been any radical left turn. And in the three decades I have lived here the GOP has ruled the roost for the most part. When two friends agree one is unnecessary as they say. Colorado still has a lot of folks from the mid west who bring some pretty darn good fair values...and as an ex Californian myself I have come to appreciate the relative civility of the political scene. Love this state, its beauty, and its culture of inclusiveness.

Yeah, not a sharp turn, just a sagging as the democrat dead weight piles up and tries to pull down the tree of liberty.

Had I been able to foresee the future of Colorado, before we decided to retire in Colorado 18 years ago, I (we) might have chosen another State to retire in. Just one more week of kinda relaxed gun laws, then the Liberal shit starts. Oh yeah, gotta remember "it's for the children".
I suppose next thing the Liberals will attempt is to put tax on the use of canes, walkers and oxygen generators..

You wont wait long to hear this one again. The Dumbocrats are putting an at least 1billion dollar tax increase on the ballot billed as school funding, what they dont tell you is that ALL of it, every last penny, is going to shore up PERA (public employees retirement account) that is several billion in the hole because of unsustainable benefits packages. None will actually go to the schools themselves. However you know it will be billed as "for the children" BTW it also seeks to change the entire tax structure from everyone paying the same percentage to a "progressive" tax structure. (CA anyone?)

I hope, since I work with a lot of Hispanics, that, as they attain the American ideals of prosperity and freedom, that this will become a large GOP base. These people aren't stupid, and once they build something to protect, they will come around. Since most immigrants are poor right now, they take advantage of a lot of government services. As they build wealth, they will come around to protecting their part of the American dream.

There is much truth in this statement. With very few exceptions, the LEGAL, hard working foreign born people I deal with mostly lean right and are very understanding of, and in disagreement with, the tax and spend ways of the dumbocrats. They are also very much in favor of tightening the noose on illegal immigration.

I've seen it, but it's a trickle against a flood.
    My Feedback
Credit TFOGGER : Liberals only want things to be "fair and just" if it benefits them.
Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.
Credit roberth: List of things Government does best; 1. Steal your money 2. Steal your time 3. Waste the money they stole from you. 4. Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."

I do have cousins in Omaha and I guess they like it there but way too much humidity for me. Nebraska will probably soon be installing the same stupid firearms laws that we currently have coming up in a week. Good luck Alex!
