Opps, i hit edit instead of quote.

I ended up going with the Nuvi 500 for the topo capability. It's supposed to be a cross over style that can be used for car, hiking, biking and marine. Paid a bit more than i would have liked, but i really did want at least some topo capability since i will be using this offroad and for hiking.
