I hope, since I work with a lot of Hispanics, that, as they attain the American ideals of prosperity and freedom, that this will become a large GOP base. These people aren't stupid, and once they build something to protect, they will come around. Since most immigrants are poor right now, they take advantage of a lot of government services. As they build wealth, they will come around to protecting their part of the American dream.

NE will take HALF of what you made to pass along to your children. They have out of control state property taxes, and cater to the industrial farming industry instead of opposing their take-overs of family farms. They were one of the last states to approve conceal carry, and are overall very dominated politically by democrat's propensity to subsidize farming assistance bills. I love NE and am related to entire county there, but the politics and taxes are disgusting.
