Sorry I had to go with the old-timey alliteration for the title.

I don't know if you guys heard of this but the new Lebron James shoe just came out and it's a "killer" item to have:

To summarize, a would-be thief tries to rob a line of people waiting for a new shoe to come out in Atlanta (by Lebron James). Little did he know one on the patron of the store had a Concealed Carry Permit. The law abiding citizen then shoots armed robber, and subsequently gets back in line for his shoe (nothing is stopping him from getting his shoes!).

Believe it or not, shoes are a highly sought after commodity. I know guys who wait in these lines and resell the shoes for double the price. Or sometimes they will collect the shoes and wait till there is a market for it and then sell them--kind of like the stock market but with shoes. There is a market for everything nowadays.

From my talks with these guys they make a pretty hefty profit doing this.
