So let me get this straight -

You opened a door that doesn't belong to you - on two separate occasions, and in both occasions it both opened properly and closed properly? And the only complaint generated from this very common procedure was the level of noise it generated from some guy sitting a computer kiosk? And he felt that it was important enough to mention?

Sounds like he was pissed at something else and focused in on you. I wouldn't pay the incident a second thought. It isn't worth your time or mental energy. That guy isn't going to be calling or paying a visit unless he his absolutely insane.

He followed me to the parking lot. Threatened me. And from the looks of it was taking down my number as I left.

He has clearly shown himself to be at the minimum mildly out of touch with reality.

On the bright side, my shop phone voicemail gets transcribed and e-mailed to me and no one has called or left a message.
