^^^ +1. Totally agree; the defense wants acquittal of all charges and not a mistrial. I heard earlier on Hannity that the Judge is considering allowing the prosecution to reduce the charge from Murder 2 to manslaughter. I understand that is judicial discretion, but not often allowed.

The fox article I read said that the defense is arguing that GZ knew what he was doing when he pulled the gun and then the trigger, he did it to defend his life, so there is no case for manslaughter: either say its murder or acquit him.

I have to agree given all I've seen, but I think the cards are stacked politically against GZ and they do not want to let an acquittal happen under any circumstances. I sure hope it does just so a huge apocalyptic riot can occur LOL.

It won't even go to the jury before the end of the day Fri at the earliest. Probably not til Mon or later. There are closing arguments, jury instructions, etc. It'll be a few more days.

This trial is a sham. They are now allowing the jury to decide what level of crime he is guilty of, rather than the original accusation of second degree murder. Apparently the judge is allowing the jury to adjust the level of guilt to something that will satisfy the hoards and masses of those who will not be happy with Zimmerman getting off of the 2nd degree murder charge.

that seem illegal but as long as it happens in front of everyone i guess its ok
