Ya, uh the FBI have already found there was no case for Fed charges. They can file and any Fed judge on the planet (even an obama douchbag judge) will kick it during prelim. The implication of double jeopardy along with no LE from state of Federal agencies showing a prosecutable crime, it would be just another nail in the coffin for this administration.

They are going to grumble for a while so people feel like they are paying attention, and then not file.

I completely agree with you. It's just the fact that the Federal Gov wants to get involved with taxpayer dollars truly disgusts me but isn't so much of a surprise.

Double jeopardy will only apply to the charges of murder and manslaughter. It would NOT apply to the charge of a federal hate crime. Good Fn luck proving that with an FBI file saying it didn't happen.
