i think this clip from the CNN interview of one of the jurors sums everything up perfectly:

"The thing about quotes on the internet is that you cannot confirm their validity." -Abraham Lincoln
After listening to this juror, I'm surprised George was not found guilty.
"He went above and beyond what he really should have done"..."Should have stayed in his car." He was not on an African safari. He is concerned for his neighborhood. He acted in accordance with being a man. He was not looking for trouble, trouble found him. He was prepared for an eventuality in which he would need to defend himself or someone else. He was attacked by a street thug who thought he could beat the crap out of a smaller man in the dark and then go off and brag about it as he had in previous fights (sucker punches). TM picked on the wrong guy this time, and payed the price.
"I feel sorry for Trayvon." One less piece of shit on the street. Thank God he didn't continue on the path he was on and end up really hurting or killing someone. Trayvon's parents failed him. The school he sometimes attended failed him. He became a product of his environment. For this I feel sorry for him, but for attacking someone for no apparent reason and coming up short, I say F 'em. His parents should be run out of town for creating this thug. Instead, they went on a tour with the black agitators and passed around the hat for donations. Their tour even took them to London. They were awarded a $1M "wrongful death" settlement from the Florida Home Owner's association. All because their punk-ass kid, who they didn't even know was dead until the next day, committed a felonious assault on someone while suspended from school, and got himself killed.
"He profiled him because he was the neighborhood watch, and profiled anyone that came in acting strange." This I can completely agree with. However, I am sick of hearing about racial profiling. Yes, I racially profile every day. Black yutes are disproportionately responsible for violent crime. Pit Bull Terriers are disproportionately responsible for violent attacks. If I see three Pit Bulls coming down the sidewalk by themselves, I am going to be wary of their actions and probably get out of their way. If three black yutes are coming down the sidewalk at night and I am alone, I am going to be wary of their actions and probably get out of their way. Statistically speaking, it is the smart, educated thing to do. It pays to be suspicious of others, and aware of your surroundings. It's why I carry.
It is apparent to me that this event is getting twisted into a "gun violence" debate instead of a worthless thug debate. "George should have stayed in his car." "He didn't have to shoot him." I guess George should have taken his beating and learned to stay inside his locked home or vehicle at all times. The streets are not safe, so stay home. Well, kiss my ass. It is time to take back our neighborhoods from these punks. Hopefully, the lesson learned from this encounter is to not put your hands on someone else - they may shoot you.

Of course the Drive-by Media only heard her say that George Zimmerman shouldn't have gotten out of the car.

IMO GZ should not have gotten out of his vehicle. I think that was a tactical mistake.
IMO getting out of a vehicle and making mistakes should not get a man put in jail or completely ruin his life.
Only GZ knows what happened right before he shot TM. There was not enough evidence to prove GZ's story to be untrue and therefore there was reasonable doubt about who was responsible for the death of TM.
A jury of citizens heard the evidence that was presented and they rendered a decision regarding GZ's guilt. The jury decided that GZ was not guilty.
I was upset when the jury decided that OJ was not guilty. I didn't burn flags or protest. I expressed my opinion and moved on. I guess some people express themselves differently.
I don't want to live in a world where everyone agrees with me.
Be safe.
