Did the hoarders already clear-out Cabelas? or is worth checking it out? My buddy was back in MN at Cabelas and they actually had smokeless powder, and large rifle primers!

Oh boy, where are the repost police?

"I believe that we are all one mistake away from tragedy...and the mistake made may not be ours."
Was by the north location today. Still a zoo. Lots of people. Isles for the ammo way too small. Had to file thru them as the line moves.
If you want peace, prepare for war.
I was there opening day for the one in Lone Tree and it was a mad house. The line for ammo sales wound around the entire store. Shelves looked pretty cleared off to me but I haven't been back there since opening day so who knows.
Invisible souls leave .308 holes.
Just picked up a couple boxes of 555rd Winchester 36gr .22lr for about $30 after tax at Lone Tree. They limit .22 to 1 box over 100 rds so the wife and I each bought one. There were probably 50 boxes left at 6PM.
I was at Lone Tree at about 6pm and left close to 7pm. The only .22 I could find was shorts. Couldn't find any other ammo I needed for the prices.
They had a number of firearms and didn't see anything I couldn't leave without.

I wish technology solved people issues. It seems to just reveal them.

I was in there on Sunday. Wandered in, bought a football for the kids and left. I'm originally from Nebraska, love Cabelas and all, but it was still a madhouse and I was a little disappointed. Will maybe try again in a few weeks. It's a nice sized store, but I was hoping for bigger, even after I knew it had been reduced.
One fun fact... when I was in the fancy gun room, the Perazzi was marked sold. If I remember right, it was marked around $40k.
I was hoping to head up to the Lone Tree store and check it out. I figure they will be pretty low on reloading supplies until the market around here levels out. Hopefully with the new bass pro in the C springs(whenever they decide to open?)and 2 new cabelas locations I might not have to order everything online, and get stuck with the hazmat fee's.
