    Default AMC bans another "weapon"

    http://www.coloradoan.com/videonetwo...tvideo|article

A Sikh man was thrown out of a movie theater for wearing a religious item. As if I need more reason not to go to AMC.

A kirpan is a weapon, but who gives a shit, it is a knife. Slightly larger than the pocket knife I carry, but not as effective at range as the G19 I carry. Then again it is California, and they can all fuck off.

So they take the "security of their guests" seriously? Where are all the armed guards in each theater? Where are all the other items needed to ensure the safety & security of all of the people in their building? </sarcasm>

Yeah, didn't think they were anywhere....

If you put up a sign prohibiting bad things, then bad things will not happen right? No need for armed guards if you have the correct sign.

....and just like that, AMC invites a civil rights lawsuit, based on a First Amendment freedom of religion argument. Not that I agree with them being sued over this, but it seems like the 9th Federal Circuit would be receptive to this, since they are traditionally liberal douchnozzles...

If they take the security of their guests seriously, why are they making a joke of themselves?
