It's always a good idea to be on the lookout for this kind of legislation and kill it before it strikes, but this kind of stuff is introduced every year in states as well as the federal government. For example, Senator Byrd (Dem-WVa) every year introduces a resolution to outlaw all small caliber handgun ammo such as .25 ACP, .32 ACP, .380 ACP, and 9mm. It never even gets heard in committee, at least not so far, but you never know what might happen. Especially given that the annoited one is about to take charge with a strong showing of Dims in both houses.

If those retarded dims don't remember that gun control is how they lost the house and senate the last time. I am here to remind them. I will be all over them like ugly on a clinton. Who's with me?

I'm with you Doc, but here's the thing. The average attention span of an American is something like 27 seconds! In too many cases their memories don't seem to be any longer.

So if I were the Dims up on the Hill I'd either pass it right off the bat, this month or next month, March at the latest, or I'd wait until after the mid-term elections and do it. BUT, historically, the party that's in charge loses seats (normally) in a mid-term election. That would make it harder to pass.

The bills are written already. MOST bills are written by lobbyists and handed to the politicians along with some campaign contributions and promises of support if they can get it passed. So it's entirely possible, even probable, that the next AWB or ammo registration, or gun show loophole bill, or whatever is already written, all that it needs is for the dates to be filled in.

Yeah that sounds like banning the use of your voice but still letting you use free speech. And the Opra's pick isn't even in office yet.

Looks like we got some work ahead of us. It was a good 4 years cept that one gun grabbing bill that got thru.
