    Default Ammo help....

    So I was given a bunch of these boxes today. I was told they would fit my K98 Mauser 8mm. Not so much and the "clip" isn't a stripper. Swazi marks on the clip and brass. Anyone know what these are? Thanks!

    ETA-this ammo will not work in a K98 8mm Mauser is not rimmed.

    8mm Rimless, Zteknik has it right you don't want to use those in a K98.

    8 x 56R like this has gone up a bit in price the last few years. You could probably do fairly well trading it for 8mm Mauser or just selling it outright.

    Steyr Mannlicher M95 carbines are relatively cheap because this ammunition and the clips are not. I have about 600 rounds on clips with Nazi headstamp I bought from AIM in 2003 for 19.5 cents a round.
